Then the war came. The Last Great Time War. Gallifrey burned and the Time Lords were lost to the history they once commanded. Only one remained—the man known simply as the Doctor.

Clever, eccentric, surrounded by the entire wonder of the universe and yet completely alone, the Doctor is an enigma that perhaps even he cannot unravel. In 900 years of life and ten different bodies, he has traveled space and time, loved and lost, met companions and said goodbyes. He rescues worlds and changes lives wherever he goes, but he no longer has a home to return to. But still he is there, to save people when no one else can.
